Faith is not an accessory to our work. It is part of the hope and care we want every handmade piece to carry.

Grace gives us another chance.
“Mercy” is our reminder that God’s grace meets us where we are and carries us forward. It is the heart behind the name, the work, and the way we hope to treat every person who finds us.
Made with care
We believe a gift can hold more than a thing. It can hold encouragement, a memory, a little comfort, or a moment of celebration. That is why we make with our hands and lead with heart.
Our little handmade world
Moonlight brings the quiet beauty. Spur brings our Western roots and love of horses. Mercy keeps us grounded in faith, family, and the belief that every story can begin again.
A letter from Moonlight Spur & Mercy
God’s gift of salvation
Thank you for supporting our small business.
We are honored that you chose something we made with our hands. Every order is packed with care, but before you enjoy what is inside your box, there is something on our hearts that is far more valuable than anything we could ever create.
More important than any item in this package is the gift God freely offers through His Son, Jesus Christ.
The things we make can bring a smile, decorate a home, or become a thoughtful gift for someone you love. But every one of those things will eventually wear out, break, or be forgotten. Your soul, however, will live forever.
1
Why do we need salvation?
God created us because He loves us and desires a relationship with us. But something happened that broke that relationship. It is called sin.
Sin is anything we think, say, or do that goes against God’s perfect standard. It is not just the “big” sins. Lying, hatred, pride, lust, jealousy, selfishness, unforgiveness, and even ignoring God are all sin. The truth is, every one of us has sinned.
The Bible says: Romans 3:23 (KJV)
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
2
The bad news
The consequence of sin is separation from God, not because He stopped loving us, but because His holiness cannot coexist with sin.
The Bible says: Romans 6:23 (KJV)
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
If good works could save us, Jesus would never have needed to die.
3
The good news
God loved us too much to leave us without hope. Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, came to earth and lived the perfect life we never could. Then He willingly took our place on the cross, bearing the punishment our sins deserved. He was buried, and three days later He rose from the grave, proving that sin and death had been defeated.
The Bible says: Romans 5:8 (KJV)
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Jesus didn’t die because we deserved it. He died because He loves us.

Can I earn heaven?
No. One of the greatest misunderstandings about Christianity is believing that if our good deeds outweigh our bad deeds, God will let us into Heaven. The Bible teaches the opposite. Salvation is a gift. Gifts cannot be earned, they can only be received.
The Bible says: Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
5
What should I do?
God invites you to come to Him exactly as you are.
Admit that you are a sinner.
Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again.
Turn to Him in faith and place your trust in Him alone, not in your own goodness, religion, or effort.
The Bible says: Romans 10:13 (KJV)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
You do not need special words. God knows your heart. You can simply cry out to Him in faith, asking Him to forgive your sins and save you through Jesus Christ.
