Moonlight Spur & Mercy is more than a small business to us. It is a reminder.
A reminder that sometimes God takes the broken pieces of our lives, the seasons we never would have chosen, and the dreams we thought were too far gone, and somehow turns them into something beautiful.
We are sisters, but before we were business partners, we were simply two people trying to find our way through life. We have walked through seasons of change, uncertainty, heartache, growth, and starting over. We have had moments when we questioned where God was leading us and moments when we could not see what He was doing at all.
But looking back, we can see His fingerprints in places we did not recognize at the time.
This business grew out of that journey.
We did not start Moonlight Spur & Mercy because we had everything figured out. We started because we had a dream, a little faith, a lot of creativity, and a desire to build something meaningful together.
The name itself carries pieces of who we are.
Moonlight reminds us that even in the darkest seasons, there is still light.
Spur represents the strength to keep moving forward, even when the road is not easy.
Mercy is at the heart of it all.
Mercy is at the heart of it all.
Because we know what it means to need mercy. We know what it means to fall short, to ask God for forgiveness, and to ask forgiveness from the people we love. We know what it means to face the things in our past that we wish we could change, to humble ourselves, to make things right when we can, and to begin again.
We have learned that forgiveness does not erase what happened, but God’s grace can change what comes after it. We have learned that our mistakes do not have to define who we become.
God’s mercy is greater than our past.
That is not just a phrase we put on our logo. It is part of our testimony.
Every piece carries a little of the journey.
Everything we create is a small piece of the journey we are still walking. Some things are made from an idea that simply made us smile. Some are inspired by memories. Some are created because we know someone else might see something in them that speaks to their own story.
And sometimes, we simply make something because creating it brings us joy.
We do not know exactly where this road will lead. We are still learning. Still growing. Still dreaming. Still making mistakes and starting over when we need to.
But we know we do not have to have the whole road mapped out to take the next step.
We have each other.
We have our faith.
And we have a God who has continued to meet us in every season.
