This month’s theme · Fruit of the Spirit
Growing what God gives.
The Fruit of the Spirit is not a list to strive through alone. It is the quiet evidence of a life yielded to God.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22-23 KJV
Fruit grows slowly. It cannot be forced by worry, good intentions, or trying harder in our own strength. It grows as we stay near the One who gives life.
This month, we will pause with the Fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Each day is an invitation to notice where God is forming these things in us, and to ask Him to keep tending the places that still feel tender.
Today, simply begin with this truth: God is at work in you. Stay close to Him, and trust that what He plants will grow in His time.
A prayer for today
Lord, grow Your fruit in me.
Teach me to remain close to You. Where I am impatient, make me longsuffering. Where I am anxious, give me peace. Let my life bear the fruit that points back to Your goodness. Amen.
